Daytime runners come on at night when put into park

I just changed my battery I assume I have a issue with the alternator but while at night my daytime runners are on when I set my vehicle in park. How is that possible?

Hello,

This happens when there is a voltage spike which happens sometimes when you connect a new battery. The BCM controls the DRL's and it sounds like part of the BCM has malfunctions due to the battery change.

I would try a used one first here is the location below.
