dashlights go off when headlights are turned on. I have checked the dimmer switch, but its not tuned down. Any ideas as to why the dash lights go off? I have had no other problems with this car.

according to what I find, Nissan has a voluntary campaign to replace the instrument cluster free of charge due to the LED lighting not working properly. id call Nissan service and ask about that. have your VIN ready, they'll tell you if your car qualifies
