So I started my car this morning and the dashboard notification was saying my back right door was open. So I opened it and closed it and the notification didn’t go off. So the interior lights wouldn’t go off. So I pulled out the fuse for the interior lights problem solved. So I started up the car, now the right front and back door open notification came on. So I continued driving and put my seat belt on and when I did that both dashboard notifications went off. Any help would be appreciated

Hello, I'm Danny.

Just a quick question first. Is the SRS (supplemental restraint system ) red light on your dash illuminated? It sounds like you might have a fault/code stored in you cars computer. If you don't have access to a scanner/code reader most auto parts stores will check for free (AutoZone). Here is a tutorial showing what is involved:

https://www.2carpros.com/articles/checking-a-service-engine-soon-or-check-engine-light-on-or-flashing

Once you have the code(s) read get back to us with the information to help properly diagnose the problem(s).Hope this helps and thanks for using 2CarPros.

Hi Danny, thank you for getting back to me. I failed to mention, I drove through some pretty deep water and I’m hoping it’s not electrical issues.

The system is run by door switches. Check to see if the switch is okay and has not lost the rubber piece. Here is what they look like and the wiring diagrams so you can see how the system works. Check out the diagrams (below). Please let us know what you find. We are interested to see what it is.
