The dome lights stay on but I have no dashboard lights. What could the problem be?

Welcome to 2CarPros.
The first thing I recommend checking is the fuses that supplies power to the instrument panel. I attached a portion of the wiring schematic which shows the fuses I am referring to. The fuses are located at the left side of the instrument panel.
