Dashboard lights not working

None of my dashboard lights are working.

Does the lights out include the console, door and window switches as well? How about the exterior parking lights? The description sounds like a bad lamp dimmer switch unless the exterior lights are also out, turn the lights on and move the dimmer and see if you get any light at all. Those are failure prone due to the way they were designed. Many times, you could put your hand over the switch and feel the heat coming off of them as the lights were on.
They are not that difficult to change out as you remove the lower dash panel, the trim under the steering column, then lower the steering column and pull the trim panel free, then just pull the dimmer out, unplug it, and reverse the process.
