I can't help like most experts here yet. There should be a dash dimmer control somewhere. Look in your owners manual. It may have accidentally been bumped. Rotating the the headlight on/off control or a separate dial are common. Rotating fully to one extreme might turn on the dome light.
It looks like the dash dimmer and backing light controls are next to each other.
