Dash warning that oil needs to be change.

Car light warning to change oil soon. I change oil and filter, light still says change oil. Need to reset computer. How? Every time you fix some thing on the vehicle, your supposed to reset the computer. In cars past you would un hook the battery. What do you suggest.

Very simple. Turn the key on, don't start the car. Fully depress the gas pedal 3 times in 5 seconds to reset the light, that's it. Key off and back on. Reminder should be gone

Thanks a lot. My sister got charged 20 dollars at one of them oil change places for her reset.
