running lights stopped working I thought it was a fuse or the dimmer switch

Went to turn lights on one morning and the dash lights went out. I thought it was a fuse or the dimmer switch but I checked them both all other lights work. brake lights work, hazards work, headlights work dome light works.

Hi,

When you say dash lights, I assume you mean the instrument cluster? If so, the power feed and ground are all shared with other lighting including the AC control module, ashtray, 4x4 switch and more. So that means if just these lights are out then we need to look at just the connection for the cluster or it is the cluster itself.

Take a look at the wiring diagram and tell me if you have power coming into the cluster on these wires and we can go from there. Thanks
