dash brake light on will not go off

I have a dash brake light that stays on checked parking brake switch and blocked it. also changed the brake pedal switch. How many other switches are in this dash brake light?

if it says brake it may be an ABS unit problem and will need scanning by a mechanic with his scanner to find the problem. Some vehicles just use one brake light for parking and ABS. See link.

Have you checked the brake fluid level? That will also put the light on if it is low.
