dash and hvac light issues

All dash lights plus the fan speed up and down and recirculation light only come on with key, but will not turn off with light switch. Issue happened after I replaced the factor radio with aftermarket with rear camera and dvd player that you have to wire in parking brake and engage to work. Radio instructions said to use light green wire for camera and light blue wire for parking brake that was located in brown connector on BCM under steering wheel, I connected those but neither camera or dvd worked. I called them back and ask about the single light blue going to parking brake and the light green wire in black six pin connector at far right of BCM. I disconnected the the wires from brown connector and reconnected light green in six pin and light blue on PB and both functions on radio now work, but that is when I noticed the light issue. thanks
