Damaged transmission

I have a question. I drove my automatic car on gear shift 2 for like about a minute and a half. I was going 55 MPH would it damage my transmission or is it still okay?

Good afternoon,

There should be no damage from that at all.

I would check the fluid and make sure it is cherry red and does not smell burned. If it does, I would change the fluid and filter.
