Daihatsu Sirion Airbag Warnng Light Permanently on

The airbag warning light comes on, after reset it came back on withing minutes. Won't reset any more. Local garage diagnostic says 'short to earth'. I will gladly make a donation if you can help.

I don't have equipment to scan, I'm just owner not garage. Apparently only 2 Daihatsu dealers in Scotlan and nearest 150 miles from me. I just need light off long enough to get through MOT to give me time to get it sorted later

Unfortunately we don't have that car here in u.S. So there isn't much else you could do. You might try pulling the fuse underhood to see if it will go out I fyou have a an under hood fuse box. But not being familiar with MOT inspections not sure If they wold catch the light not going on at start up during inspection.

Ya it happens a lot on here. I was In Scotland in june of 12, lot of fun.
