2000 Daihatsu Hyjet Four Wheel Drive Manual

hi, i have a 2000 daihatsu hi-jet 3cyl 4wd in VT. it has been registered & inspected for 6 months. DMV came by to check it out, and took my plates because my their OBD II tool could not communicate with my truck. any info would be great on how to track down the right software, or anything. i have found no dealership in the USA, nor do any toyota dealerships know anything about it. i'd give a great "donation" if anyone could help. thanks shannon.

Hi shannonmichaeltriplett,

For Daihatsu vehicles some of them are not ODB-II compliant and I have done many such vehicles whereby you need to use a jumper wire on the ODB connector, terminals 4 and 12 and watch the CEL light blinks to count the codes.
