I just had a service which cost me £420 abd my car was returned with the temperature gauge not working. I'm sure it was working before the service.
Thank you Fred Williams

Hello,

Was the service done for the gauge not working or cooling system related?

If the temperature was working before, then it is possible that the connector could have came loose or was not secured.
Check the wire harness that is attached to the back of the sensor. Make sure it is secured and clear of any corrosion.

I have attached diagrams for your reference.

Please let me know of any questions.
Thank you.
