Brakes problem
2002 Daewoo Nubira 4 cyl Front Wheel Drive Manual
----------------------------------------------------------------
First off, I am mechanicaly inclined. I am attemting to replace the rear rotors on my car. I have the brakes completly off, the rotor is loose and not rust on, but I cannot pull them off. I have a feeling the parking brake has something to do with it but I do not know how to loosen it. PLEASE HELP!!!!

Hi mv1p1,

Thank you for the donation.

I am not familar with your model layout so need to confirm this.

1. Handbrake cable is not attached to calipers but goes in behind the rotor?
2. On rotor is there any rubber stopper which can be removed to gain access to the handbrake adjuster?
3. Is the handbrake cable adjustment sufficiently released?
4. Brakes off = including caliper mounts?
