2001 Daewoo Nubira Crankshaft puley

I have a squeeling in my car and someone said it was like a crankshaft pulley that need to be replaced. Is there such a thing and doe that sound like the problem. It isn't a belt, we know that.

HI there,

The pulley you are talking about is the front crank shaft pulley, I doubt that this is your problem, I would remove all the belts and run the engine if the noise is still there it may be a timing belt problem, if gone, replace belts one at at time and run to see which is at fault.
