Check the recall on your car, Daewoo leganza's have had a problem with the gas gauge not showing the right amount due to some faulty wiring. At one time the dealer were taking care of this for free.
If they won't, you'll have to do it your self or find someone that can do it for you, Cost, somewhere around $200.00 to $300.00 bucks. Understand, the sensor is in the gas tank. You can get to it by removing the back seat. (You don't have to drop the tank!) Under it you will see a black cover, remove it. You should see the top of the fuel pump and the wiring for it. Disconnect the fuel lines and wiring. Then slide the ring clip, this will free up the unit, and you will be able to pull the fuel pump and sensor out of the tank. At this time check everything. Make sure there wasn't anything that might of kept the float from moving freely up and down. Daewoo does have a part so you can just replace the sensor instead of the fuel pump and sensor. That can save you a few bucks. Once this is done, just put everything back together as you took it apart, and you should be ready to go.
Hope this helped you out,
Robert
