Engine Performance problem
1999 Daewoo Leganza 4 cyl Automatic 140000 miles

I have a 1999 daewoo leganza and am having trouble figuring out how to take the fuel filter off to replace it. Also what tools should I use. I have taken many filters off but this car is the most difficult.

FUEL FILTER Removal Relieve fuel system pressure. Disconnect negative battery cable. Disconnect inlet fuel line by moving line connector lock forward and pulling hose off of fuel filter tube. Disconnect outlet fuel line by pushing release sleeve toward fuel line with Trim Remover, and pulling hose off of fuel filter tube. See Fig. 7 . Remove fuel filter. See Fig. 8 .
