1999 Daewoo Leganza 4 cyl Automatic 130000 miles
hi! I my 2.2L Leganza wont start. It's been offroad 5 weeks now due to a timing belt snapping while I was on my way home and since then my partner has been fixing it for me.
This last weekend after buying a new cylinder head, new head gasket and new timing belt its finally all been put back together with a little other help on the timing belt and gasket but now it still wont start.
The engine almost turns over. It seems so close to going by the way it sounds when we have tried, we have added a little more fuel, checked the spark, charged the battery (even though still fairly new and under warranty) and also tried starting with a jump.
When we took the old cylinder head off alot of coolant came out and leaked on alot of parts and now that we have white smoke while trying to start the engine we arent even sure if its related or not.
We've had some1 else put the timing belt on for us and he knows very much what he is doing, has he probably made a timing mistake by one notch anyway or what else is it that we probably have wrong?
