1999 Daewoo Lanos engine loosing power

1999 Daewoo Lanos Two Wheel Drive Manual 163000 miles

Hi. No trouble with ignition at first. But after I drive a few miles, the car engine is loosing power. Then the engine will totally stop unless I stop at the roadside for a while. If the engine dies, then it will have the ignition problem. Weird thing is, the engine is fine after that (that is why im thinking of electrical problem). This happened a couple of time already. Anyone can help me? Fuel filter problem? I bought this as a used car and the previous owner said it had a lead problem before but she already fixed it.

Try loosen the intake manifold bolts to let air to come out. If the car start, is the catalytic converter. I had same problem and replaced the catalytic converter, car now is good.
