Hi,

When accelerating my Lanos shudders. It may suddenly leap forward, or just shudder for awhile before smoothing out.

When driving at constant speed it drives smoothly. However, as soon as I hit a hill, it starts shuddering again.

The cables that connect to the spark plugs have been replaced. I replaced the plugs today. The problem persists.

Any advice appreciated.

Re-check the gap for the spark plugs to .044. Also, re-check the plug wires for possible misfire. If it has not been done, consider checking/replacing the fuel filter.

Is the check engine light on?

Thanks for the reply.

I will that today. The filter is fairly new, but I will replace it anyway.

The engine light is not on.
