Daewoo Lanos 1.6 sx cuts out when taken over 4000 rpm when cold and then will not start for 2 or 3 minutes. When it has been re-started it runs like a bag of nails for about 5 minutes and has no power. Seems to me that the engine is flooded and maybe the choke is stayin on longer than it should. Is there any thing i could do to stop this. Thanks Dave

Is th echeck engine light on? if it is have it scanned at Autozone (they do it free) and get back with the codes. Does it just cut off or die off like it is running out of fuel?

No there are no engine lights that apear on the dash. it seems to run out of fuel or flood the engine. This only happens when it cold. As soon as it up to temp it runs fine. Thanks Dave
