The D4 light on dashboard flickers lack of power when accelerating from stop to go. Could the possible cause be the transmission solenoid?

Yes, it could be, but we should run the codes in case the TCM is going out.

Let me know what you find. Also check the connection at the transmission to make sure they are secure. Here is the location of the TCM so you can check that out as well. Check the images below.
