I had a multiple cylinder misfire P0300. I changed the injectors I changed the spark plugs found out the wires were good, and the coils were good and everything before I changed the injectors, I found out that there was a lot of water in the gas, so I drained the tank and put new gas in started the truck up and it started knocking and banging and clacking and has it not gone away.

We need to start with checking the oil. First, we need to check for water because if you have water in the fuel then it could over fuel and fill the crank case. so, if the oil is over full or milky then we need to drain the oil and look for metal.

Even if the oil is not over full or milky the next step is to drain the oil and check in the drain pan for metal.

If the engine is knocking, then this is due to metal-to-metal contact so we will most likely find some metal in the system.

Can you get a recording of this noise and let us hear this so that we can be sure to be on the same page? Also, does the noise get louder and faster when the RPMs go up?
