Cylinder head temperature sensor socket size needed

I need to know what size socket or wrench I need to remove my cylinder head temperature sensor.

They don't say the sensor size in the manual but from memory I believe it is 17mm deep well. Here are the instructions for the sensor and the location in the diagrams below. Check out the diagrams (below). Please let us know what you find. We are interested to see what it is.
