Hi,

At what point were you heating it to remove the bolts? Also, when you have it hot, spray something like PB blaster on the bolt. It will be more likely to make its way into the threaded portion. Just remember to not go too crazy with the lubricant. It can burn. Do that a few times while trying to turn the bolt in both directions.

If it starts to move, loosen it about a half turn, turn it in the same amount, and then slowly keep working it back and forth that way until it gets loose enough to remove.

Let me know.

Joe

Well, the thing that I found out is that the last bolt has I believe high strength thread locker on it and I've used acetone butane and a propane torch also rubbing alcohol. Still not much difference I even been using a file which I feel has had the biggest effect.

Hi,

I'm sorry to hear you are still dealing with this. It sounds like you've tried a lot of different things. There is one product that may help. It is called Freeze-off. It is made by CRC. I attached a pic below.

It is designed to lower the temp of steel causing it to contract. It has helped me out of a lot of situations. I don't know if it would work for you, but it may be worth trying.

Let me know.

Joe
