Will a 2011 2.4 Hyundai cylinder head work on a 2011 2.0T turbo 4 cylinder engine or will I have a lot of problems?

It may bolt to the block but they are different. The non turbo heads are not set up to handle the pressure that the turbo creates.

I am sure you can find people that will say it will work but I have not found anyone on the internet that says they did it and it works. Normally with these conversions if they are possible then someone has done it. All the application charts say it is not possible so I would not try it unless you are looking for a challenge and ready to overcome the issues you run into. Having never done it, it is hard to project what those issues will be.

Let me know if you have more questions.

Thanks, I couldn't find anyone either. I thought there would be problems that's the reason one is a 2.4 an the other is 2.0.

Yeah. Unfortunately it is not a "plug and play"

The only actual physical difference in the engines is the cylinder size but as I said, the functionality limits and components are different.

Let us know if there is anything else I can help with. Thanks for coming to 2CarPros.
