CV Axle shaft replacement?

In your excellent video, it appears the shaft is for an AWD vehicle. My shaft is longer on the input side as I have a FWD vehicle.

I looked up the part number you mentioned, but the website is not functioning properly.

Question: Is the shaft you installed for an AWD or FWD vehicle?

Hi James,

I'm not 100% certain which video you watched. Let me know what side you are replacing, and I'll get you the directions specific to your vehicle.

Also, in most cases, if you are working on the front of the vehicle, the process is basically the same, but I would feel more comfortable providing the directions.

It was the passenger's side axle. I don't think it has AWD, but you never know, here is the video in question:
