Replaced the CV axle and they were a pain to get out, after reinstall transmission fluid leaking out?

Hello, it is typically a good idea to replace the seals on the transmission when doing axles. However, I cannot see how someone can damage one so bad to leak like you are describing. I would check to see if the dipstick is fully seated in the transmission. If you can, have a flashlight ready for when it falls to the ground and duck under the car to get an idea of where it is coming from, and we can go from there.

Got a new seal 2 days later because it's a Toyota and you can't get it at any auto parts store, so Toyota had to order it! Anyway, that stopped the leaking but now there are other issues. I don't think the repair was done completely correctly. So, question, can i take it to a shop and tell them what was done and give them a check and see if it's good? And just pay for an inspection or something? I know every place is probably different but just wondered if that was even something that was done.

Hello, yes, requesting a post repair inspection is a normal thing, though price can vary. Typical auto shop chains will do their typical 30-point inspection and try to sell you various air filters etc., so I would be very straight with what you want done.
