I have a popping sound in the left front of my truck listed above. After further inspection. I see the CV axle boots are torn. I just replaced them about 30,000 miles ago. Think it’s cheap parts from AutoZone. But anyways I had a mechanic put them on. I am going to be installing them this time. Looking at the Haynes book it says the flange bolt torque is supposed to be 59 ft lbs. Is that right? Figured it would be more and the hub nut is supposed to be 173 ft lbs? One last question is I have a 2018 Chevy Silverado. The radiator has a leak. I am going to replace it this weekend. How do you bleed the system? I bought the funnel kit. I assume you fill the truck full of antifreeze through the reservoir, fill that and the funnel halfway up and wait for the thermostat to open then fill the reservoir up the rest of the way and put the cap on. Don’t want to run into air in the system. Thanks for any help.

Please make a new question for the 2018 Chevy Silverado problem. Those torque specs seem correct, here is a video of the job being done and I have included instructions on how to do the job in the images below which included the torque specs so you can confirm the info.
