Cutlass hood

Okay so I am about to start a restore on my car but the only part I do not know how to find is the opening between the grilles. I know something goes there but I cannot find it and I do not know the part's name.

I think you mean you are trying to find the lever to open the hood. check where arrows are and move towards drivers side. then when hood pops up there is another in same area or lift and you should be able to see it to move it to open hood.

If you are referring to the gap between the bumper and the header panel above the license plate area, That is common poor fitment. If you mean the small panel with the trim emblem, that is a header extension, but I doubt you would find it as a separate part as it usually is sold with the header panel.
