My car listed above 3i has an unserviceable fuel filter. I want to add one that is accessible and efficient.
I don't like the fact of no filter and where all the debris goes. Is there a filter recommended that is tolerable of the pressure and efficiency without causing issues?
Is there a particular place that they have been installed?
Thank you

Hello my name is Dave.

There is a filter system in the fuel tank. it wouldn't be recommended to add another filter as it would most likely interfere with the system possibly causing performance issues as well as a check engine light. Restricting the fuel flow could result in engine damage due to a run lean condition causing detonation. My recommendation is to trust the engineers that designed the system.
