My vehicle listed above persistently displays the "keep eyes." warning message while I'm driving, preventing me from using the screen. However, when I switch off the engine, the CUE screen functions normally, and I'm able to adjust radio settings or connect via Bluetooth. While I'm aware that taking it to a dealership could resolve the issue, I consider that option a final resort. Thank you for your assistance. I'm located in Arizona.

Hi,

That is an interesting one. What really needs to be done is to have the CAN bus scanned to see where the fault is located. This doesn't need to be a dealership but does require a scan tool that can read can-bus codes.

Basically, CAN stands for controller area network. All the different modules are tied together via a few wires. This type of scan will retrieve codes regardless of the module storing them.

Here is a link that explains how it's done:

I realize that it's an inconvenience, but that is where I would recommend starting. Otherwise, it will become a guessing game which can get expensive.

Let me know if you have other questions.

Take care,

Joe
