My cruise control will work when my headlights are off but won't when they come on. It will also kick off sometimes when I use the turn signals doesn't which way right or left. Is the Hazzard switch headlights and cruise control all together and if the hazard switch bad, could it be the cause?

Sorry, I said that wrong the cruise control will work sometimes when the lights are on but most of the time, they won't work for the cruise control won't work with the lights on. Also, sometimes you eat Downey Interstate with the cruise on and you can turn the turn signal on it'll kick off once you let the turn signal up or turn signal kicks back to where it's supposed to be normal you can hit the button and the cruise will turn back on. I guess my main question would be is the bright lights or the headlights. Have anything to do with the hazard control that's on the dash of the 2001 Oldsmobile Intrigue reason asking is sometimes you have to tap the hazard button to get the turn signals to work sometimes. Any information will help.

This sounds like a classic turn signal combination switch which has shorted out, here is how to change it out. But I must say for the cruise control the cock spring goes out on these as well. Here are the wiring diagrams for the cruise so you can see how the system works. You can go over the wiring or try the switch to see what happens.

I would think with the other problems it would be the multi-function switch. Check out the images (below). Please let us know what happens.
