My cruise control will not stay on. If I push and hold the switch it will work but the moment I let go it shuts off. My service stabilization system light keeps coming on when I drive, but when I press the reset switch on dash it turns off so I do not know if that is the problem. Do you have any ideas?

if service stability is coming on then it has to be scanned for codes with a professional scanner to see what the problem is. that is why the cruise does not work.
