cruise won't engage all the time. requires several attempts to make it work.

Hello,
It sounds like you might have a faulty cruise control switch or could be a faulty connection for the switch.
I have attached a basic instruction of the replacement procedure of the switch. Keep in mind this requires to remove the airbag assembly.
