I bought this car used and the cruise control does not seem to work. I was reading on the self-diagnostic test on the same make and model as my car listed above and everything flashed once cruise and then on the last one it flashed three times. So, what does that mean and what is my next step to fixing the cruise control?

Hi,

What that indicates is the cruise control deactivation switch is stuck open. As a result, the system thinks the brake is applied and won't operate.

I attached information below for you to review. The last three pics are the directions for the switch. Check to make sure the connector is not damaged, corroded, or disconnected. The first two pics explain what the code indicates that you found.

Let me know if this helps or if you have other questions.

Take care,

Joe
