Cruise control not working

As far as the cruise control it sounds like the clock spring behind the steering wheel is going bad which will cause issue you have. To be sure here is a guide to help you check the wiring with the wiring diagrams of the cruise control so you can see how it works and how to replace the clock-spring if confirmed:
