Welcome to 2CarPros.

The crankshaft position sensor won't cause it to turn slowly. Are you sure the battery is good? Also, I need you to check fuse 12 in the under hood fuse box. See pics 1 and 2.

If the fuse is good, check the fuel pump relay in the same power box. I attached a picture of its location. You can switch it with a different relay in the same box that has the same part number or here is a link that explains how to check one:

Also, I need you to load test the battery and make sure it is good. Here is a very simple test:

Hello,

No, this wouldn't be a problem with the crankshaft sensor. This is probably going to be a problem with your vehicle's fuel pump circuit. In the diagrams down below I have included your vehicle's fuel pump wiring diagrams. I have also included the diagram and callout for your vehicle's Fuse Relay Box, as well as it's location. Can you please check fuse 12 in the Fuse Relay Box. Here is a guide on checking fuses, if needed, below:

Please report back here with what you find out.

Thanks,
Alex

Hi,

Turning over slowly and not getting gas could be related but they don't have anything to do with the crank sensor. The crank sensor just tells the PCM when the engine position is so it can fire the plugs at the right time.

Let's address the slow crank first and then the fuel issue. First, how do you know it is not getting fuel?

Then we need to check the battery to make sure it is properly charged because this is the most likely cause of a slow crank.

Here is guide for the crank sensor just to explain it. Let me know about the battery and how you know it is not getting fuel and we can go from there. Thanks
