I can't locate the crankshaft sensor. I'm thinking it'll be behind the starter motor. Is that correct? If so, will I have to take the starter motor off to replace the sensor or is there another way?

Hi,

This vehicle isn't offered in the US, but I will do my best to help.

I did a little research and found the crankshaft position sensor is located near the crankshaft pulley at the front of the engine. I attached two pics below showing it.

According to the info I found, this is relevant for 2007 - 2011 model year vehicles.

As far as replacement, that looks like it shouldn't be hard. Here is a link that explains in general how to replace one. Hopefully, it will help:

Let me know if that helps or if you have other questions.

Take care,

Joe
