Hi, i am currently trying to change the crankshaft position sensor, and cannot even locate it within the engine. I have been under the car and above on both passenger and driver sides and i cannot see it. Do i need to remove something first in order to access it or how do i get to it? Any other pertinent information you think i should know in relation to the question would help too. thank you

Welcome to 2CarPros.

The crankshaft position sensor (OBD) is located on the trans-axle housing facing the gear teeth (cogs) of the flywheel or drive plate. I attached two pictures to help.

Let me know if you have other questions.

Take care,
Joe
