Codes P0087 and P1622, where is the Crankshaft position sensor located?

Hi,

I have the vehicle listed above 1.8 TDCI 2007 (DM2) that stopped after being idle (warming up) and it won't start. After it does, it turns off not long after. Some say it might be the crankshaft position sensor. The codes are "P0087 low fuel pressure" and "P1622 immobilizer ID does not match".
Some say those problems went away after replacing and even cleaning the connection of the crankshaft sensor.
Any tips? Where is the sensor located?

Hi,

This vehicle model wasn't offered in the US, so I don't have the specifics. However, I will try my best to help.

In most cases, the crankshaft position sensor is located near the harmonic balancer at the front of the engine. On others, it can be located on the side of the engine block near the rear of the engine or even the transmission bell housing.
