My check engine light came on and the code was for the crankshaft sensor. I replaced it and the car still won’t start. So, the light came on a week prior, while driving one night the car shut off and would not restart so that’s when I replaced the sensor. Just a month ago the dealer replaced my water pump, timing chain and components as well as spark plugs and wires.

When the engine is cranking over does it sound normal? Also, can you check for spark here is a video to help you do the test.

If it has spark, see if the engine will run on starting fluid, this will tell us the problem is fuel related. Also, can you give me the code number and a short video of the engine cranking over that way I can tell if the engine is okay. Also did you use a scan tool to do the initialization procedure?

"Using the scan tool, perform the Misfire Monitor Neutral Profile Correction procedure, following the on-screen instructions."

Check out the instructions for the crankshaft sensor in the images below. Let us know what happens and please upload pictures or videos of the problem.
