Truck just turned off, will not start. Engine turns over fine, but nothing happens. Spark plugs are not firing. Bought a code reader, it said the crankshaft position sensor is bad. I replaced it, and tried to start and it did not start, but then the battery died. With the new sensor in place, should it start up like normal? Or does it take a bit to get everything back in order?

That should have a security system even if the key is not chipped does not mean there is not a security system.
