Changed crankshaft position sensor and three way wire connector since the wires were bare and gave a p0336 and now vehicle wont start it cranks I could smell gas but there is no spark. Which pin on the three way connector should have power when the key is in the on position? Also now I have no power to any fuses in the under hood fuse relay box.
Thanks for your time Joseph.

I had a and c pin wires mixed up when I started vehicle, is it possible I fried the crank sensor having the wires hooked to the wrong pins? Thanks, Joseph

Hello again.

Yes, it's always possible to ruin an electrical component when the wires are hooked up incorrect. First thing to do is check the fuse. Here is a tutorial on how to test and change fuses:

I've attached a picture below showing the location of the crankshaft position sensor and circled in red. It is located in the under hood fuse box on your truck. Hope this helps and thanks again for using 2CarPros.

Thanks for replying. Yeah, I have power on pin A of the three pin connector now of the crankshaft wire harness with the key in the on position, and the RPM gauge is at 6,000 so it seems I probably did short the sensor itself, I will try putting a new one in. It's cranking with no RPM movement could smell gas but no spark.

Fuses in both fuse boxes loose power after having the key on the on position within two to three minutes and wont come back on until after sitting a couple hours and then it does same thing. Also after putting crankshaft sensor and new wire harness in RPM gauge is maxed out whether the key is in the off or on position sit all the way past 6,000 RPMs and doesn't move while cranking engine.
Thanks, Joseph
