Cranks won’t start

Hi:

This vehicle doesn't have a traditional crankshaft position sensor. It has an optic sensor (pick-up coil) in the distributor. I attached the directions below for replacing it.

If this is the problem, there will be no spark at the spark plugs. Confirm that if you haven't/ Here is a link that shows how to check.

If there is spark, see if it starts if you use starting fluid. If it does and then stalls, the problem is fuel-related, not ignition.
