Just replaced the starter was running fine until the starter went bad, now it just cranks and won't start. I have 2 codes P0018 and P0019.

Hi,

If this happened only after replacing the starter, there is a good chance something came disconnected. The codes are indicating both the intake and exhaust camshaft position sensors are out of sync with the crankshaft position sensor, but it's only on one side of the engine. Initially, I was thinking the timing chain for bank two was damaged, but that wouldn't happen from replacing a starter.

I attached a pic below showing both the intake and exhaust camshaft position sensors on bank 2 which is the front of the engine. Check to make sure nothing is disconnected or damaged.

Let me know what you find.

Joe

See pic below. Note: If possible, record it cranking and upload it for me to hear. If it is an actual timing issue, I should be able to tell. Also, the arrow in the pic below points to the front of the vehicle.
