Cranks but will not start?

I push the button and try to start it as normal. It cranks and won't start but acts as though it wants to start.

It sounds like the fuel pump is going out, will the engine run on starting fluid? If so, we should run the codes and if none comes up let's do a fuel pressure test. Also make sure the tank has gas in it.
