cranks but will not fire up

The car lost power on the highway and i pulled over and turned it off. when restarting the car, it starts but engine would not stay running. i parked the for a very long time, 3 years to be exact. after 3 years i changed the battery, coils and spark plugs. the car cranks but wont fire up after many attempts to start it.

Hello,

Okay, first let's make sure that you didn't do any internal engine damage from when you first had the problem. Let's start out by doing a compression check. Here is a link below explaining how to do a compression check:

Please go through this guide and report back with what you find out. We can go from there with a better understanding of where the internals of your vehicle's engine stands.
