I have checked the fuel system ok, checked for spark it's good checked timing it's good replaced the ecm and mass air flow sensor. Still no fire or even acting like it wants to fire. What do I check for next? For awhile when it ran rain would affect it, make it die I was a mechanic years ago before computers can you help?

Okay, if you have fuel and spark, the timing is correct and you have compression, the engine has no choice but to run. I will assume you check fuel pump pressure at the fuel rail and it is within the manufacturer's specs. I will also assume that the spark you are getting is a good hot blue snapping spark. That leads me to the final stage of the fuel delivery, the injectors. Have you checked to see if they are getting power? Also, will the engine start with starting fluid?

If it won't start with starting fluid, then you have an ignition problem. You said it was getting spark. Is the spark a hot blue snapping spark or a weak white./ Orange spark? Also, if you can, confirm that the injectors are getting power.

Let me know.
